About the Role

As a Community Fundraiser, you will help to deliver fundraising initiatives by working closely with communities and volunteers within the region and play a vital role in helping us to meet our fundraising targets, allowing us to campaign for life-saving skills and equipment, such as defribillators, to be accessible by anyone. As a Community Fundraising Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and liaising with volunteer fundraisers and providing support for events, as well as, supporting fundraising directly with local businesses. You will also support fundraising volunteers with legal requirements, fundraising policies, regulations and ensure that activities meet St John Ambulance standards.

About You

Ideally, you will have previous fundraising experience, however, we are looking for someone who is passionate about people and effecting positive change within communities, so you may have worked previously in a sales or customer service environment, or other customer led role. You must be motivated and able to develop strong, long-lasting relationships within the community and recruit and engage with fundraising volunteers.
