We are challenging you to give something up for 30 days. We have come up with some options to help inspire you, which you can view here. But it’s your 30 day challenge so you can pick anything you like – what will you choose?

How to take part:

  1. Decide what your challenge will be – make it something difficult and meaningful to you so people are more likely to support your efforts
  2. Set up a JustGiving page with details about your challenge and why you chose St John Ambulance, don’t forget to send the link to your network of friends and family. Click here for instructions on how to set up a JustGiving page.
  3. Keep your supporters updated on your progress through social media or updating your JustGiving page. Don’t forget to use our hashtag #SpringIntoAction
  4. Once you have completed your challenge let us know by emailing communityfundraising@sja.org.uk to get your certificate.
  5. Tag 5 friends to get them to take part in their own 30 day challenge!

Make sure your 30 Day Challenge raises lots of money

  • Share some of the St John Ambulance Real Life Stories with your friends and family so they can see why you are taking on the challenge 
  • Use a countdown or count up to let people know how far you are in your challenge 
  • Let everyone know you are taking part, share your JustGiving link with your friends and family and all your social media platforms

Don't forget to share any photos you take with the hashtag #SpringIntoAction

    Whether it's Netflix, Prime or YouTube – reduce your screen time by challenging yourself to give it up for one month. Why not use your extra free time to read a book, learn a new language or do a puzzle?

    For those of you who enjoy a daily (or more) trip to the coffee shop, why not make your coffee at home and donate the money you save to St John Ambulance?

    If you find yourself scrolling endlessly through Twitter, TikTok, Facebook or Instagram, then this one is for you. Limiting the use of social media can have such a positive impact on your mental health. Spend the time you get back talking to your loved ones or enjoying a hobby like reading or walking.
