Ambulance Operations Administrator
Location: Stockport, North West
St John Ambulance North West Region is looking to recruit an Ambulance Operations Administrator to support the growth and management of the Ambulance Operations department.
Based within the Stockport office our Ambulance Operations Administrators will play a pivotal role in supporting day to day operations, providing both support to frontline ambulance crews and ensuring all elements of back office support is covered.
As an Ambulance Operations Administrator you’ll be a key part of our ambulance service and as we work 24/7, 365 days a year, this means you’ll also need to work flexibly and at different times, to cover occasional evening and weekend work.
The effective recording of patient information, Invoice details, providing quotations, taking calls from crews and external agencies and inputting that data into computer systems is a vital part of this role.
You’ll need to be a careful and accurate listener and someone who can assess information and clarify situations very quickly, you will be able to demonstrate a track record of working within highly regulated and pressurised environments.
Back office elements will include invoicing, administrating operational rota’s and providing statistical reports so competency on MS office products to at least intermediate product is essential. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and passionate about providing the best standard of service to our patients, staff and customers.
This is Permanent – Full Time, 35 hours pw
Starting salary around £16,010 pa
