In partnership with NHS trusts and other high profile organisations, St John Ambulance transports patients in emergency and non-emergency situations whilst applying a high level of compassionate patient care.

Due to the nature of this role successful candidates must have the ability to work in an emergency ambulance environment and have good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as being able to work as part of a team.

Duties and responsibilities will include responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing the highest level and quality of patient care to those in need during events. 

It is essential that all applicants hold a valid full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years, this position requires the license holder to be Category C1 or above with no more than 6 penalty points. We are looking for Emergency Transport Attendant qualified staff only as no training is offerred with this post.  These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and therefore an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for successful candidates.

Hours of work: 42 - 48 hours per week
