Heat exhaustion - resources and lesson plans

Heat exhaustion is caused by a loss of salt and water from the body and is usually a result of sweating excessively. If not treated, heat exhaustion can lead to more serious conditions like heatstroke.

You should treat someone who is suffering from heat exhaustion quickly.

This first aid teaching module will help your students to understand and look out for the signs of heat exhaustion and how to apply basic first aid to help someone who is showing signs of heat exhaustion.
