Event logistics
It takes more than first aid to keep
everyone safe at events.
Our radio communications team, volunteer drivers and
logistics officers make sure that our skilled first aiders are
properly equipped and are in the right place at the right
time.
The event logistics teams provide our first aiders with the
tools they need to do the job, through running radio communications
at events, transporting equipment to and from events, and
maintaining stocks of first aid supplies.
If you’re an organisational whiz, have a clean driving licence,
or an interest in radio, we’d love to have you on our logistics
team.
‘Knowing I’ve done my bit to help keep the city safe is what I
enjoy most about volunteering. Being on duty at Potter’s Field
during the 2012 London Olympics was incredibly memorable!’ –
Malcolm, Radio Communications Volunteer
