First Aid Community Advocate
Volunteer with the nation’s leading first aid charity to raise
awareness of the importance of first aid in your local
Are you passionate about your local community and love meeting
new people? Then we'd love you to join our team of First Aid
Community Advocates. You'll be helping to raise awareness of the
importance of learning first aid and increase access to first aid
information throughout your local community.
You’ll do this by handing out information to the public or
giving talks and demonstrations at community centres, local events
and groups. Your role as a First Aid Community Advocate can be
flexible to suit your lifestyle and you can shape the action you
take in your local community.

To become a First Aid Community Advocate, all you need is
enthusiasm and passion to raise awareness of the importance of
first aid. We’ll give you all the training and support you need to
inspire other people to learn life saving skills. As part of our
team, you’ll be working alongside like-minded people from all walks
of life. As this is a flexible volunteering role, you can give as
much time that suits your lifestyle.
Learning first aid skills could be the most valuable thing you
ever do. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills and
help more people save lives.
Our First Aid Community Advocate programme will be
running in the following areas. These areas have been
identified as ones which would most benefit from our support:
North: Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland,
Durham, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Whitby,
London and south: Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich,
Lewisham, Croydon, Sutton, Kingston, Merton, Wandsworth, Lambert,
Southwark, Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Newham, Lower Hamlets,
Camden, Islington, Hackney, Haringey, Enfield, Waltham Forest,
East: Kings Lynn, Fakenham, Cromer, Great
Yarmouth, Diss, Norwich, Bishops Stortford, Chelmsford, Basildon,
Southend, Clacton, Colchester
West: Birmingham, Bristol, Bath, Weston Super
