Acting District Events Officer (Stadium MK)

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Acting Event Support Officer to oversee the day to day first aid and medical activities undertaken by St John Ambulance at Stadium MK, the home of Milton Keynes Dons football club. The Acting Event Support Officer is responsible for planning and delivering first aid and medical provision for all events that take place at the stadium, working under the District Event Services Lead. The successful candidate will provide specialist advice, knowledge and support on all aspects relating to medical provision at the stadium to the stadium management team, local authorities and stand-alone customers who wish to use the stadium as a venue. 

Other responsibilities include: • Attending meeting as required • Staffing individual events • Stock Control & Ordering • Problem solving • Upholding policies and procedures • Working with the stadium management team to maintain and improve services quality • Working closely with the statutory ambulance service to maintain a close working relationship and high standard of clinical care • Assisting in writing documentation and guidelines The role may also involve assuming the role of the St John Ambulance event manager from time to time on match days, however additional training and development will be available to the successful candidate.
