District Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Officer

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are seeking a District Clinical Officer – IPC who will be responsible for advising the District Manager and District function supports on infection prevention and control standards and for championing and supporting safe and effective IPC measures through the development of an appropriate structure for the provision of local IPC advice throughout the district. 

Working closely with the District Assurance Officer, the role holder will provide support for the assessment and monitoring of IPC standards throughout the district. This is a challenging role so the successful candidate will have the necessary professional knowledge and experience, be a proactive individual, able to manage change well, have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all level and resolve conflicting priorities and stakeholder concerns to ensure delivery of consistently high quality results.
