Prospect Researcher

About the Role

A key role which is instrumental in driving a change in the way that St John identifies and nurtures prospective sources of funding and support. As Prospect Researcher, you will create and develop a prospect research function within the fundraising team; implementing and embedding a best practice approach to identify opportunities to enable the fundraising team to meet its ambitious fundraising targets.

You will be responsible for undertaking prospect research, due diligence checks and network mapping to support the development of the high value fundraising team’s pipelines. Working in collaboration with fundraising and other relevant functions, you will undertake activities that deliver against own objectives and contribute to the overall targets and goals of the fundraising directorate.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should bring a wealth of experience undertaking research and due diligence checks within a charity or commercial setting. You will have evidence of the ability to develop and manage strong and positive working relationships across an organisation and have a working knowledge of creating and implementing a successful new system or process.
