Regional Facilities Coordinator
About the Role
St John Ambulance has a large portfolio of properties in England, which our National Facilities team are responsible for, ensuring that they are clean, safe, in great condition and welcoming.
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will be a key member of the facilities team and will be responsible for ensuring that facilities & properties across the London and South region are well maintained. To do this, you will ensure maintenance, repairs, insurance, suitability and access for relevant parties are up to date.
In addition, you will lead on the project management of small & medium sized facilities projects to include refresh upgrades, regulatory upgrades to include CQC & HSE compliance across our owned & leased portfolio. You will also play a key role in contract management and financial reviews with our supply chain contractors either regionally or represent the region across national suppliers.
Please note that this job may be based at St John Ambulance in London (W1H 1PS) or Woodley, Reading (RG5 4QN).
Ideally, you will have previously worked in a Facilities environment and will have a good understanding of health and safety requirements. You should also have great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload, as you will need to handle multiple queries and issues at once and liaise with external and internal parties to resolve.
St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls. Much of our front-line delivery is provided by our dedicated and highly-trained volunteers.
