Ready, Set, Superhero

28 May 2014

If you’ve always wanted to be a Superhero, there’s no time like the present to start saving lives.

We’ve launched the second of our two super new fundraising events – the Superhero Stroll. This September we’re inviting people to put their fancy-dress foot forward during a sponsored stroll around local parks or neighbourhoods.

Get your friends, family, classmates or colleagues together to dress up as your favourite character. Costumes don’t have to be fancy; make your own version of Superman, Wonder Woman, or whatever hero you dream of being.

Supporting us through this great day out is one step toward helping us meet our goal: that no one should suffer from a lack of first aiders.

The September Superhero Stroll will run alongside our annual Save a Life September campaign. During the month, our volunteers will give hundreds of free first aid demos across the country, to equip more people with life saving skills.

If you’re interested in strutting your stuff in aid of a life saving cause, simply download our fundraising pack and dust off your cape!

Superhero Skydive

For Superheroes who prefer to live on the edge, you can choose to leave the street and head to new heights. Fly high above the clouds with the Superhero Skydive, starting in June.

The Superhero Skydive is a first-of-its-kind adventure event for us. We have partnered with Skyline Promotions to offer an exciting day for wanna-be Superheroes that will help raise funds to train first aiders in your community.

Skydive training and ‘the jump’ are completed in one day, and you’ll be guided by, and harnessed to, an experienced parachute jumper.
