Deadline extension for Everyday Heroes

Final call to help St John Ambulance celebrate the nation's life savers

St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes

Due to the unprecedented demand, the deadline for nominations to the Everyday Hero awards has been extended until Friday 6 March 2015.

If there’s an Everyday Hero in your midst, then you have an extra more week to nominate them before the extended deadline closes.

The St John Ambulance Everyday Heroes awards, supported by Physio-Control, celebrate the nation’s life savers – ordinary people who have done extraordinary things.

You might know a teacher who’s going the extra mile to teach kids first aid. You may know a local hero who saved someone from choking. Maybe your neighbour gave someone CPR after a sudden cardiac arrest. Perhaps one of your colleagues is championing first aid in your organisation.

Telling these stories is so important in helping other people realise how important first aid is, and how it can really be the difference between life and death.
