Our paramedics work across the full range of our services to provide the highest possible level of clinical care and address a wide range of clinical needs and acuity.
Our paramedic-led services include:
A&E support.
High dependency support services.
Inter-hospital and inter-facility transfers.
First aid cover for public events.
Educational training.
Our services operate nation-wide, 365 days a year.
All our paramedics have a minimum of two years’ post-registration experience. They also have ‘blue light’ driving qualifications, should an emergency journey be required.
Our paramedics work within professional teams of fully-trained Technicians and other ambulance staff. Together, they ensure patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
Our modern fleet of ambulances all meet current EU and UK legislation. They are purpose built for St John Ambulance and are less than seven years old.
Our ambulances are equipped with a wide range of advanced clinical, handling, and monitoring equipment. This includes a comprehensive range of medicines to provide emergency and life saving treatments. Our paramedic services also provide Advanced Life Support.
