Fundraising

Raise money to get people the first aid care they need, when they need it.

There are so many ways that you can fundraise to support St John Ambulance. From taking part in a challenge event like a marathon, to baking, quizzing, or something no one’s ever thought of before.

The money you raise goes towards our training, equipment, and ambulances, ensuring our volunteers are always ready and able to respond when needed, saving more lives.

Fundraising for first responders, ambulance crews, and more

Hundreds of people run, cycle, hike, and climb for us every year. Whether you want to take part in an event on our behalf or register a spot you already have, it really does make a difference.

If you'd rather create your own fundraiser, like a quiz or coffee morning, tell us your idea and we can offer help to set it up.

What happens to the money I raise?

You might have seen St John Ambulance volunteers at a local festival, fireworks event, or football match. You might have heard about our training courses, our campaigns to educate the public on lifesaving techniques, or how our ambulances support medical organisations like the NHS. All of this work ultimately brings practical care to people in the most dangerous or distressing moments of their lives.

It is only possible through fundraising. This is how we equip and train volunteers, hire paramedics, and it’s how we’re able to place first aiders to be in the right place at the right time.
