What is Play Your Part?

Play Your Part is how you can fundraise for St John Ambulance by doing a livestream, gaming stream or creating content for your friends, family and followers!

By creating content and engaging with your subscribers you can tell them about the great work St John is doing and ask them to donate and support our cause or challenge them to create some fundraising content for us as well.

We have a wide range of fundraising resources, overlays, logos and other content to help support you with your fundraising creation, listed below!

What can I do to Play My Part?

You can take livestream almost anything. It could be gaming, baking, or a skill you want to share. By engaging with your followers and friends you can tell them about the great work St John is doing and ask them to donate and support our cause.

From there, simply set up a fundraising page for JustGiving and link to your Twitch account.

So you want to do a livestream?

It’s easy to set up a fundraising livestream - or a series of livestreams if you’ve got enough content! You can use Youtube, Twitch, Periscope, Facebook, Instagram or any other platform you’re comfortable
using!

• Once you’ve decided what your stream is about, it’s time to set up a Givepenny, Tilitfy or JustGiving page
• Choose your Fundraising Goal (for a stream that’s over 30 minutes we suggest aiming for £100+)
• Tell your subscribers and followers what you’re planning to do and why. Share it on social
  media, or you might want to release a  trailer video in the lead-up. Don’t forget to share your
  fundraising page links as well!
• After you’ve completed your stream, nominate up to 5 of your friends or followers to Play Their Part
