Challenge basecamp is in Kendal, and it’s a 100km looped route with a few tough hills to Ambleside, a halfway point by Lake Windermere with stunning views enroute, and a huge welcome back at basecamp.
Join up to 2,000 adventurers and sign up as an individual or as a team - you’ll get full support all the way, plenty of food and drink, optional camping and transfers, a special medal, t-shirt and celebration finish. With 50km, half, marathon, quarter, and 10km distance options also available – there’s a Lake District Challenge for everyone. Push yourself further in 2026, take on an Ultra Challenge – the UK’s No.1 Series of treks and trail challenges!
