Our HEART Pocket defibrillator is here!

The latest in our series of defibrillators, the HEART Pocket AED, has just gone live.

Introducing the HEART Pocket

HEART Pocket puts the power of first aid into people’s hands. Comparable in size and convenience to a mobile phone, it’s the smallest, lightest and most portable defibrillator available.

It's 700g (just under half the weight of our HEART One and Two) and is small enough to fit in a pocket, meaning a first responder is equipped to react quicker to a medical emergency.

Who’s it for?

It’s designed for emergency services, first responders, security teams and anyone trained in first aid who requires fast, reliable support in a critical situation. We encourage everyone who uses a HEART Pocket to undertake formal first aid training such as our First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid courses.

A UK exclusive for St John

We’re the sole UK distributor of this HEART Pocket product. The product is significantly smaller and lighter than anything else on the market – which positions St John to lead the market, expanding into the emergency services, mountain rescue, transport and other commercial sectors.

Nick Winstanley, Head of Buying and Procurement, says: “Our HEART Pocket is the culmination of cross-functional collaboration, bold thinking and a commitment to innovation. By introducing a market-exclusive product, we’re strengthening our commercial offer and equipping our volunteering teams with a bold step forward in how we support patient care. I’m proud of the drive and ambition teams across St John have shown to launch this product, helping us achieve our shared aim to grow the power of first aid together."

Our e‑commerce platform is about more than convenience, it’s a vital part of our mission. When you buy First Aid supplies or book a course, you’re directly supporting our frontline volunteers, youth programmes and community outreach across the country. If you’d like to support us in another way, you can also do so directly.
