About the Role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the recently appointed Director of Governance.  This position is a key support role with a high level of responsibility and impact.

Although a certain amount of calendar management is required, this is not a secretarial/PA role. We are looking for a candidate who has strong analysis skills along with business acumen, customer focus and the ability to prioritise effectively.

It requires someone who loves to learn and effectively multitasks without losing attention to detail. To be successful in this role the candidate must understand the importance of their role in supporting the Governance directorate’s aim to provide leadership to the charity on identifying and managing risk, providing assurance on risks and ultimately making St John a learning organisation. Understanding and supporting risk management will be a key responsibility.

We see this role as offering an excellent development opportunity to someone who is on a path to a management position.
