Smoking regulations and the law
The law (The smoke-free (signs) Regulations 2007) banning smoking in enclosed public places is in effect throughout the UK. This includes restaurants, pubs, bars, cinemas, shopping centres, leisure centres, other enclosed spaces and public transport. One offence of this law is failing to display no smoking signs in premises covered by the law.
