Youth programmes at St John Ambulance

'With St John Ambulance I have achieved so much.  It’s made me a more motivated person. It’s taught me to aim high.' – Rebecca, Cadet

Our youth programmes operate across England, enabling young people to learn first aid, build their confidence, and gain important life skills.

Badgers (Ages 7-10)

At Badgers, it's all about fun, adventure, and learning first aid.

Cadets (Ages 10-17)

As a Cadet, you'll have an exciting journey ahead of you. You'll get to meet new people, learn new skills, and build your confidence.

Youth projects: RISE (Ages 13-25)

RISE is a community programme aimed at training young people who are not in employment, education or training (NEETs).

University student volunteering

If you’re at university, you can join a First Aid Society and join more than just life saving skills.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award

If you're aged 14 to 24 and fancy an exciting new challenge, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award could be for you.
