Fabulous opportunity to join us as Logistics Manager!  In this key and important role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the tactical and operational planning and coordination of Logistics response and resources in alignment with the logistics strategy. Also being responsible for recruiting, leading and developing regional logistics teams that include a large number of volunteers.

About You:

  • UK driving licence at B1 level with no penalty points (C1 desirable)
  • Experience managing a team of people over a wide geographical area
  • Experience of providing impactful leadership to a high quality for both volunteer and employee teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

 

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the development of a robust and effective national logistics delivery and resourcing strategy
  • Ensure that Logistics KPIs are met and delivered against, and build collaborative and dynamic relationships to ensure engagement
  • Develop and implement auditable processes to ensure that event and community logistics support requests are managed, documented, delivered, measured
  • Work as part of a Support Operations Team to develop systems for equipment and device resource allocation nationally
  • Provide subject matter expertise at a senior level, participate in cross functional forums and projects
