This is an exciting time for Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at St John Ambulance, we have developed our EDI Strategy and are currently developing a training framework, which you will support the development and implementation of with our stakeholders.
There will be no 2 days the same and the role is a mix of training delivery, design, research, promotion of events and coordination. You will be able to stand at the front and present virtually, which means you need strong digital skills and be confident in working with people at all levels in St John.
This role will require you to travel nationally and work some evenings and weekends depending on the needs of our people and therefore adaptable, some of the work can be done virtually.

About You:
- An organised and adaptable candidate with initiative who has demonstrable experience and knowledge of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and can support our leaders and people and will implement learning strategies based on evidence.
- You will need to be able to plan and organise events and projects, work with the Head of EDI and EDI team and other stakeholders, whilst responding to queries and working closely with Learning & Development Manager and other training providers and external consultants. Basically, you will be a juggler of people, training events, projects and administration.
About The Role:
- Conduct needs analysis and research, design and deliver in-house training and development programmes and blended learning for staff and managers which are aligned to meet organisational and individual needs, including induction, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, leadership and management development, bespoke development programmes for teams, personal skills and other L&D activities
- Lead on EDI training projects and initiatives linked to EDI Strategy ensuring that implementation is achieved on time and to budget
- To meet EDI and L&D objectives by liaising and negotiating with external suppliers, ensuring best value as appropriate
- Support the organisation and coordination of the people development calendar for St John People and ensure learning events are timely, focused, relevant and provide value for money and meet identified development needs
