St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response, Falls response, Night Time Economy and Homelessness outreach) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, NHS Cadets and Young Responders programmes). There is also a buoyant social enterprise network which delivers first aid training and supplies medical consumables to businesses and consumers.
Job Summary
The New Business Acquisition Executive will be responsible for proactively winning new high value Training customers to onboard as National Account customers. This new crucial role will convert leads to prospects, prioritising targeted industry sectors to achieve new business revenue and margin targets. Working closely with our Marketing team to ensure quality leads are provided as well as self-cultivated leads that meet the National Account customer criteria.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience in successfully achieving new business targets in a B2B environment
- Experience of working with and managing stakeholders at all levels across a complex organisation
- Experience of developing and working to Leads / Prospects pipeline
- Experience of working in a multi-channel and multi product operation
About the Role
- Achieve / exceed revenue and margin targets for new Training Account customers ensuring you work within the pricing/discount parameters for new customers and maximise opportunities to upsell and cross sell
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure quality, relevant leads are being provided as well as cultivating own leads that meet the National Account customer criteria
- Work closely with Bid team on pre-bid activity where new business opportunities are identified, building relationships with prospective customers, identifying, and where possible, influencing their requirements and feeding information back into Bid team to ensure as much preparation can be completed ahead of live tender
- Work closely with the Customer Onboarding Executive and Account Manager once business is secured to ensure a smooth customer journey and transition.
- Ensure a thorough knowledge of the product range is maintained
