If you haven’t already, check out our Save a Life September campaign for 2025 – aiming to put the power of first aid into as many hands as possible. This Save a Life September, St John Ambulance aims to teach 300,000 people how to treat choking, cardiac arrest and severe bleeding. We’re encouraging parents, grandparents, partners, siblings and colleagues to learn first aid, and make sure the people they care about are safe and protected.

Consider One-Off, Regular and Gift Aid Donations

Every donation, big or small, helps us make a real difference. A one-off donation can provide lifesaving help where it’s needed most, while a regular monthly gift allows us to plan ahead and deliver long-term support with confidence.

What’s more, is that if you're a UK taxpayer, you have the option to choose to add Gift Aid. Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you. Save Lives with Legacy Giving

We know it’s a difficult subject to think about but another way that you can play a huge part in the continuation of St John Ambulance’s life-saving charity work is through legacy giving. Legacy giving is a very special way of continuing your support far into the future, and a gift of any size can help keep our communities safe.

An amazing 24% of our charitable funding comes from legacy gifts. When someone leaves a gift to us in their Will, they are helping us train and equip the next generation of lifesavers. Your support can help us realise our vision of a world where everyone is confident, ready and able to respond whenever first aid is needed - saving more lives.

Anyone can leave a gift in their Will to charity. Even just 1% of the remainder of your estate could make a huge difference to funding our vital work.

Another way that you can contribute to the life-saving work that St John Ambulance does on a weekly basis is by taking part in our lottery.
