Course description

The CDM 2015 in Practice course provides an in-depth explanation of the UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. It covers the many specific interactive duties the regulations place on those planning, managing and monitoring construction activities. Learners will have sufficient knowledge to assist in achieving compliance with these regulations.

This course is suitable for those involved in planning, managing or undertaking construction activities. The course also offers those new to CDM an introduction to the 2015 Regulations to help them understand their legal responsibilities. It will enable your staff to perform activities in compliance with the CDM 2015 regulations.

Staff who are trained in CDM regulations are well-equipped to deal with clients, designers and contractors. They will be able to discuss the subject from a position of knowledge in a confident way. The CDM 2015 in Practice course is accepted by The Institution of Construction Safety (ICS) as meeting the approved criteria for Membership of the Institution.

The HSE report that up to 8.5% of a tender price is lost on typical construction projects. Adhering to CDM 2015 regulations ensures good management is in place to help reduce these costs.
