April 27, 2022: Last night thousands of key workers joined St John Ambulance, Virgin Radio UK and some of the UK’s favourite bands and singer songwriters for a special music concert at the AO Arena in Manchester to say a ‘Big Thank You” to all those who have kept the country running and our loved ones safe, throughout the Covid pandemic.

To celebrate the UK’s key workers, and their incredible efforts over the past two years, the stage was alive, with unmissable performances from Kaiser Chiefs, Wild Things, Tom Walker, The Vaccines and Isaac Stuart.

Chief Executive of St John Ambulance, Martin Houghton-Brown said: "It's been an incredibly challenging time for the whole nation, but this 'Big Thank You Tour’ is the perfect opportunity to celebrate and thank all those who have gone above and beyond caring for and keeping the country running – it’s great so many were there enjoying themselves last night."

Virgin Radio UK Content Director, Mike Cass said: “At Virgin Radio UK, we wanted to do what we could to celebrate our key workers and thank them for everything they have done for us all during the pandemic. The Big Thank You Tour will be one big rock star thank you, from some of the best names in the business with lots of great music.”

The ‘Big Thank You Tour’ shows are being held in England this week. In addition to the event in Manchester last night, another concert will be held at the OVO Arena, Wembley in London on Thursday 28 April.
