This lesson is suitable for pupils in Key Stage 3.

What is included in the lesson?

The teaching resources include a lesson plan, a presentation, worksheets, and suggested activities. The topic of head injuries is explored in greater depth than in Key Stage 2.

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

  1. ensure the safety of themselves and others

  2. identify when a casualty has a head injury

  3. give first aid to a casualty who has a head injury

  4. seek medical help if required.
