This lesson is suitable for pupils in Key Stage 3.

What is included in the lesson?

The teaching resources include a presentation, a video, worksheets, and suggested activities. The topic of choking is explored in greater depth than in Key Stage 2.

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:

  1. identify a casualty who is choking

  2. provide first aid to a casualty who is choking

  3. seek medical help if required.
