1. Wear it green and yellow day

Students and teachers can be encouraged to wear the St John Ambulance colours of green and yellow for the day, in exchange for a small donation.

  2. Spelling bee

If you’re a teacher, why not get the whole school together and see who is the spelling champion!

  3. Get baking

Get baking and hold a cake sale during lunchtime. Both students, teachers, and staff won't be able to resist a homemade goody!

  4. Celebrate World First Aid Day

This day occurs one the second Saturday in September each year. Why not celebrate first aid and the incredible impact it can have saving lives? Have students and staff dress up for a small donation or hold demonstrations of first aid skills.

  5. Get crafty

Encourage students to get creative with painting, drawing, and sculpting. Hold an auction of students' artwork for parents to bid on with the proceeds donated to St John Ambulance.

  6. Battle of the bands

Encourage students (and staff!) to get involved and hold an evening of music and entertainment.

  7. School fete

An easy way to fundraise is to choose St John Ambulance as your charity of choice at the school fete, with a small donation made from each entry fee.

  8. Talent show

A fun way for both students and teachers to get involved is to hold a talent show. Ask participants to show off their show-stopping talents such as singing, dancing or performing magic tricks.

  9. Parents sports day

Switch things up and ask parents to take part in a traditional sports day.

  10. Guess the baby

Ask teachers to bring in a photo of themselves as a baby. For a small donation, students can try to guess who is who!
